Many agendas were approved in the Academic Council meeting
Latest Updated On 02/03/2025: The 21st meeting of the Academic Council of Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) Patna was held on Saturday. Chairing the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Sharad Kumar Yadav said that many new courses will be started in AKU in the coming session. The Academic Council discussed and passed the proposal to start new courses.

In the meeting, consent was given to start BSc in Drone Technology, BSc in Artificial Intelligence by Aryabhatta Knowledge University. Along with this, approval was given on the DPR of two new departments, Department of Teacher Education and Department of Educational Planning Management and Administration under the School of Educational Training and Research. The Vice Chancellor said that many new courses will also be started under the School of Law. Under the new course: BA LLB, BBA LLB (five-year integrated course), along with this, approval was given on the ordinance and curriculum of BA LLB, three-year LLB and one-year LLM.

Many subject experts were also present in the meeting: Dr. Ravindra Sharma of Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar, Dean Engineering Dr. Kumar Surendra, Dean Education Dr. Udayraj Mishra, Dean Management Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Assistant Professor Dr. Manisha Prakash and staff of the academic branch were also present as subject experts in the meeting. The vote of thanks was given by Registrar Ramji Singh.
The council discussed 10 agendas in the meeting
The council discussed in detail 10 agendas including approval of ordinances and syllabus of five-year programs MCA (Integrated), MBA (Integrated), MBA (Logistic Supply Chain) and MBA (Finance). Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharad Kumar Yadav said that all the work which has been pending for two-three months will be done soon. There will be speed in it. All officers and officials have been instructed. Many changes will be seen in the university in the new session. Academic environment and research will be promoted. The Vice Chancellor said that the academic centers operating under the university have been instructed to implement the new education policy immediately.
