SFI Dehradun Uttarakhand demand raised to dissolve NTA latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 05/07/2024: SFI demanded the dissolution of the National Testing Agency i.e. NTA. It also demanded the resignation of the Education Minister. On behalf of the organization, a memorandum was also sent to PM Narendra Modi through the DM on Thursday.
State Secretary of the organization Himanshu Chauhan said that NTA has demonstrated its incompetence and inefficiency in the management of national level examinations. The recently postponed NEET-PG has also been added to the next link of continuous irregularities and discrepancies in the management of examinations. The continuously postponed examinations and paper leak incidents show that NTA has lost faith in its own working method and existence. It should be dissolved immediately. On this occasion, State President Nitin Maletha, Shailendra Parmar, Sonali Negi, Ayaz Khan, Savi Samvedi, Piyush Muniyal, Mahi, Priyanka etc. were present.
These demands were raised prominently
● The NTA system should be abolished.
● The Union Education Minister will have to resign.
● Students who recently appeared in NET and NEET exams should be compensated.
● The recently adopted system of mandatory NET score for PhD admission should be withdrawn.
● Attempts to replace the existing entrance exam processes with centralized processes should be withdrawn.
