Latest Updated 13/07/2024: Based on the clues received from Rakesh Kumar alias Rocky, arrested in the NEET UG paper leak case, the CBI raided more than a dozen places in four cities including Patna, Danapur, Kolkata to nab kingpin Sanjeev Mukhiya and other wanted persons. These raids were conducted between Thursday and Friday. Intensive interrogation of many people has also been done at these places.

However, CBI official sources are not confirming anyone's arrest during this period. There is information about seizure of laptops and other documents from some places. All these places have been the hideouts of setters or there has been some activity related to paper leak at these places. It is worth noting that Rocky was arrested from Patna on Thursday and the CBI is interrogating him after taking him on 10-day remand. The CBI team is specifically interrogating Rocky about when, how and through whom he got the question paper. Where was it solved. Who were the people in the solver team and where from. In the investigation so far, it has become clear that the question papers of different subjects were sent to different places and solved.
So that answers could be prepared in less time. The questions of Chemistry and Physics were sent to two-three places and solved. In this, the names of some teachers teaching in coaching institutes of Kota and other places may also come to light. The role of these institutes is also found to be suspicious. At present, all the aspects related to this are being investigated. Only after this the whole situation will become clear.
