Latest Updated 10/07/2024: In the NEET paper leak case, the special team of CBI has arrested two suspects from Patna on Tuesday. This includes Sunny Kumar, a resident of Nalanda, and Ranjit Kumar, a resident of Gaya. Sunny Kumar himself is a candidate and he had given the exam by memorizing the answers of the question paper.

However, the details of his rank have not been revealed. Whereas, Ranjit Kumar is the father of a candidate, who had paid money to get the answers from the setter gang for his son. To get his son passed in NEET, Ranjit had contacted many setters and got the exam set. According to the information received, both these accused have been arrested from Kankarbagh area of Patna.
It is being told that Sunny and Ranjit's son had memorized the answers on the night of 4 May at the private school Learn and Play located in Khemani Chak, Patna. This is the fourth arrest in Patna by the CBI in this case. Earlier, two other accused Manish and Ashutosh were arrested.
So far 13 have been arrested: So far the Central Investigation Agency has taken 13 people into custody in the NEET paper leak case. These include 4 from Patna, 5 from Jharkhand, 1 from Godhra (Gujarat) and 1 from Latur. In Patna, around 10 accused have been taken on remand and are being questioned for the last 11 days. Two days ago, the CBI has also taken two accused to Delhi.
Gaya: CBI raids the houses of arrested students
In the NEET paper leak case, on Tuesday, the CBI raided the houses of two students arrested on 5 May in Haraiya of Barachatti and Sarvahadadih village of Khijrasarai. The CBI reached Shivnandan's house in Haraiya and recovered other documents including Aadhar card. The CBI wanted to question Raghunandan Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav, father of arrested student Shivnandan. But, he was not found at home. Shivnandan's elder brother Niranjan was questioned. At the same time, the CBI searched the house of student Nitish Kumar in Sarvahadadih. Shivnandan's admit card was recovered from Sikandar Yadav's car.
