Latest Updated 11/07/2024: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hand over appointment letters to 1500 postgraduate trained candidates of Jharkhand on 12 July. The appointment letter distribution ceremony will be organized at Dhurva Prabhat Tara Maidan from 12:30 pm. Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta and Education Minister Vaidyanath Ram will be present as special guests in this. Appointment letters will be given to the candidates of seven subjects of PGT - Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics and History.

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission had released an advertisement for the appointment of 3120 postgraduate trained teachers of Plus Two schools in the state. Earlier, the then Chief Minister Champai Soren had distributed appointment letters among 1020 PGT candidates in a ceremony held at Shaheed Maidan on 7 March 2024. At present, appointment letters were to be distributed among 1500 candidates on July 3 itself. The candidates were also instructed to come, but on July 1, the program was postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

Renowned companies of the country will participate in the conclave. The department will also make an agreement with these companies to provide employment.
