NEET paper leak: Remand period of four accused will end today

Latest Updated 11/07/2024: In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI presented two accused Kumar Ranjit and Sunny Kumar arrested from Patna on Tuesday in a special court on Wednesday. The court has sent both of them on remand till 15 July.

Kumar Ranjit is from Gaya and he had arranged for his son. Sunny Kumar, a resident of Nalanda, is the candidate who got the question paper with answers. Sunny and Kumar Ranjit's son had memorized the question paper with answers on the night of 4 May at the hideout of the setters in Khemnichak, Patna. What was their result has not been revealed. The remand period of accused Ehsan Ul Haq, Imtiaz, Jamaluddin and Aman Singh, who are on CBI remand, will end on 11 July.

Last time his remand period ended on 7 July, but on the argument of the CBI's lawyer the court gave the approval to send him on remand till 11 July. Notice issued to Sanjeev Mukhiya Bihar Sharif's Noorsarai Udyan Mahavidyalaya administration has issued a notice to Sanjeev Mukhiya, accused in the NEET paper leak case. He has been ordered to appear in person at the college within three days. Sanjeev Kumar is posted as a technical assistant. The media is showing him as the main accused in the NEET paper leak case.


Action will be taken if he does not appear at the office.
