Latest Updated 07/07/2024: In the NEET UG paper leak case, three accused lodged in Beur jail, former junior engineer Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, Nitish Kumar and Amit Anand have been taken to Delhi by a special CBI team.
The three accused lodged in Beur jail were taken to Delhi by the team of the central investigation agency on Friday itself. They will be presented in the Rouse Avenue Court there. This court had issued a production warrant related to presenting them. According to information received from sources, other cases are also present against these three in the CBI. For this reason, they have been taken there. However, no official information related to this has been shared from the CBI level. The CBI is currently interrogating the two accused Chintu and Mukesh, who have already been arrested in the NEET case, by taking them on remand. The CBI is interrogating 10 accused in this case so far by taking them on remand.
● Sikandar, Nitish Kumar and Amit Anand will be produced in Delhi court
The remaining accused have been arrested by the CBI at its own level after taking this case. The three accused Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, Nitish Kumar and Amit Anand were arrested by the Bihar Police on May 4 from the private school Learn and Play located in Khemni Chak, Patna. A total of 13 accused were arrested from here along with them.
Interrogation of Bunty begins
Sikandar had booked the government guest house in which his brother-in-law Sanjeev and his son Anurag were staying. Meanwhile, the CBI team reached Patna on Saturday with Bunty arrested from Dhanbad. The process of questioning him has also been started. Bunty was arrested on the information given by Aman Singh.
