Latest Updated 20/06/2024: Two candidates were questioned at the EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) office on Wednesday in the NEET question paper leak case. Both were questioned for about 3 hours. One candidate is Isha Bharti from Bakhtiyarpur and the other is from Samastipur. EOU has not given any official information about the questioning. But, according to sources, both have been questioned together and separately. Information has also been obtained from their parents.
Isha arrived first with her father at around 12 noon. While talking to the media while going inside the office, she told that her examination center was in a school in Indirapuram, Danapur. Shortly after this, the second candidate also arrived with her family. The car in which she came had a doctor's sticker pasted on it. It was found that this doctor is associated with a big private hospital. Both were asked whether they had received the question paper before the examination. If yes, then from where did they get it. Do they know anyone associated with this racket. However, the candidates said that they have nothing to do with this matter.
Union Education Ministry seeks report from EOU
The Union Education Ministry on Wednesday sought a report from Bihar's Economic Offences Unit (EOU) regarding alleged irregularities in conduct of NEET in Patna. A senior official of the ministry said that after receiving the report, the central government will take further action.
