Latest Updated 10/06/2024: In Jharkhand, postgraduate trained teachers who have received appointment letters will join. Chief Minister Champai Soren had handed over appointment letters to 1020 postgraduate trained teachers on March 7 itself. The appointment process of all the teachers was to be completed by 30 March, but due to the imposition of the model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections on 16 March, all the teachers could not join.
- Appointment letter was given on 7th March, appointment was to be done by 30th March
- Apart from post graduate trained, laboratory assistants were also given appointment letters
In such a situation, after the Lok Sabha elections, the School Education and Literacy Department has directed to get all the teachers who have received appointment letters from all the districts to join. Secondary Education Deputy Director Utkarsh Gupta has instructed all the district education officials to get the concerned teachers to join by June 20. Also, keep allocating schools to them. Apart from postgraduate trained, appointment letters were also given to laboratory assistants. The laboratory assistants who have not been appointed till now will also be compulsorily made to join by June 20.
