Latest Updated 10/06/2024: 25 women will be appointed in Anganwadi centers run by Child Development Project. For this, the District Social Welfare Officer has released the information at the district level. A general meeting will be held for this from 24 June. Eligible women will be selected in the general meeting itself. According to the information received, eight women will be appointed on the post of Sevika and 17 women on the post of Sahayika.
Selection will be done through general meeting. The selection of Sevika and Sahayika will be done through general meeting. Women living in the base area of the Anganwadi center will come to the general meeting with all their documents.

Under normal circumstances, the names of the selected Sevika-Sahayika will be announced on the spot itself. It is known that the state government has announced to give honorarium of Rs 9500 per month to the Sevika and Rs 4750 to the Sahayika.

The general meeting for the selection of Sevika-Sahayika will start from 24th June. By 29th June, the entire process of general meeting for the vacant posts of Sevika-Sahayika will be completed in all the 25 Anganwadi centres.

Most vacant posts will be filled in Dhanbad Sadar zone. According to the information, ten Sevika-Sahayika will be filled in this zone. After this, there will be recruitment in five Anganwadi centers of Topchanchi zone. Along with this, there will be recruitment in Baliapur, Govindpur, Nirsa, Jharia and Baghmara zones.
