Latest Updated 20/06/2024: Employees working on outsourcing in various departments, boards and bodies of the government will get bonus. Bonus will also be given to those who work for at least 30 days in a year. They will get the facility of gratuity if they work for more than five years. Principal Secretary of Labor Resources Department Dr. B. Rajender has sent a letter to all the departmental secretaries in this regard.

It has been said in the letter that manpower is being used in various departments as outsourcing. Compliance of labor laws is necessary while taking work. It is mentioned in the Bonus Payment Act 1965 that such workers who work for at least 30 days in a year will be given at least 8.33 percent bonus. Similarly, if a worker is removed and he has served for more than five years, then he will be given gratuity.
