Latest Updated 02/06/2024: The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the date of the Joint Law Admission Entrance Test (CLAT). The exam is on 1 December. Admission will be given in 24 NLUs. There will be admission to 3241 seats in BA LLB and 1248 seats in LLM.
Apart from this, admission is done in more than 60 private and government law schools through CLAT score. The registration process for CLAT 2025 will be started by NLUS in mid-July. Candidates of General, OBC, PWD, NRI, OCI category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 4000 for this. At the same time, SC, ST and BPL category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 3,500. The exam will be conduct from 2 pm to 4 pm. At the same time, the registration process to participate in this exam will start in mid-July.

The Consortium has also released an official notification in this regard. The notification said that in the meeting held on April 26, the Executive Committee and Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities decided that the Joint Law Enrollment Entrance Examination will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Information about the syllabus, application and counseling process will be given soon. Abhishek Gunjan, CLAT expert and co-founder of Law Prep Tutorial, said that CLAT provides admission in various UG and PG courses of law including LLB, LLM.
