Latest Updated 02/06/2024: According to Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), registration for admission in engineering colleges of the state will be done till 10 June. Fees can be deposited till 11 June. Corrections can be made in the application form from 12 to 13 June. Merit list will be published on 15 June.

This time admission will be done on a total of 13835 seats in 38 engineering colleges of the state. 360 seats have been fixed in all engineering colleges. Admission in these colleges will be done on the basis of JEE Main score. MIT Muzaffarpur has only five seats less. Muzaffarpur has 355 seats. Admission will be complete on 360-360 seats in all the remaining 37 engineering colleges. Admission will be done on 40 seats in Gaya College of Engineering and 120 seats in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women's Technology Institute Darbhanga of LNMU. That is, admission will be done on a total of 13,835 seats.

BCECEB Special Officer Anil Kumar Sinha said that admission to 13,835 seats in engineering colleges of Bihar will be done only on the basis of JEE Main score. Admission will also be done on some seats of Sanjay Gandhi Gauvya Technology Institute. The score card of JEE Main January and April session will be valid. In the new session 2024-25, 33 reservations will be given to girls. Along with 33 seats reserved for girls in 38 government engineering colleges, 50 seats have also been reserved in all categories.
