Latest Updated 11/05/2024: The villain of the paper leak scandal of BPSC third phase teacher recruitment examination is MBBS Shiv Kumar of Nalanda district. He has already been arrested. The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) conducted 68 days of intensive investigation and interrogated 279 arrested accused before unearthing the scandal on Friday.
Dr. Shiv followed his father's path in competitive examinations and became the mastermind of the setter business. Before this, he was also involved in the paper leak scandal of NEET UG exam in 2017. Dr. Shiv Kumar alias Bittu's father Sanjeev Kumar alias Lutan is also associated with the paper leak business. This year, in the NEET question paper leak case, SIT raided the office of Lutan, who was working as a technical assistant in the Horticulture College of Noorsarai, a few days ago.

EOU said that a case was registered on 16 March in the teacher recruitment paper leak case. ADG Nayyar Hasnain Khan had formed a special team to investigate this. Dr Shiv's interstate gang is connected to many states including UP, Jharkhand. His involvement has also come to light in the UP Police recruitment paper leak.
