The monitoring officer has filed an application saying that Purushottam Jha had given a complaint to the examination committee. It was alleged that Pankaj Kumar and Chandan Kishore Suman, posted in the committee, had committed irregularities during the result processing by taking money through middlemen. As soon as they received information about the investigation into the irregularities, both the accused sent their resignation letters to the committee office by e-mail citing family reasons on April 27. The monitoring officer has said that after matching all the candidates placed in the committee with the relevant records, the examination result has been amended on the basis of the actual marks obtained by them. Pankaj Kumar is a resident of Anand Vihar Colony of Hajipur and the other Chandan Kishore Suman is a resident of Nijhra village under Sigodi police station of Patna district.
