Live News Update: Naugachia Jail Constable arrested in UP Police Paper leak
Latest Updated 01/03/2024: UP STF arrested constable Neeraj Sharma working in Navgachia jail in the paper leak case of Uttar Pradesh Constable Recruitment Examination. Also took him with her. STF reached Navgachia Upkara on Thursday evening and took the constable into custody. During this time Bihar Navgachia SP Puran Jha was also present.
According to the Navgachia jail constable arrested information by Neeraj Sharma, He was arrested after his involvement in the paper leak came to light. After investigation based on the chatting on Neeraj's mobile, his involvement has come to light. It is said that in this examination, STF has got evidence from his mobile phone that he took Rs. 24 lakhs from 12 candidates at the rate of Rs. 2 lakhs and gave them the answer sheets of the examination. Neeraj Sharma is a resident of Bettiah Bihar district. He was recruited as a jail constable in the year 2015.

Siwan resident accused arrested in Siddharthnagar
Itwa (Siddharthnagar). Another accused in the paper leak case of UP Police recruitment exam was arrested by the Itwa police of Siddharthnagar from Badhni border. The accused Anoop Kumar Pandey alias Anoop is a resident of Siwan district of Bihar and was planning to flee to Nepal. Police Station Head Santosh Kumar Tiwari told that he is a resident of Lauva Rampur of Bhagwanpur police station area.
