Of the 815 teachers whose services have been ordered to be terminated by the department, maximum 116 are from Bhagalpur district. Apart from this, maximum teachers include 84 from Jamui, 69 from Darbhanga, 55 from Samastipur, 51 from Gopalganj, 44 from Munger and 42 from Khagaria. Whereas, there are zero teachers in Buxar, Siwan, Saharsa, Katihar, Begusarai. Action was to be taken against 45 teachers in Patna, out of which case is pending against two.

The Education Department has ordered all the districts to terminate the services of all the teachers found guilty in the monitoring investigation. The department has expressed displeasure over the fact that till now the action to remove 815 such teachers from service is pending. Therefore, it has been asked to terminate the service of these teachers within 15 days and send its report to the department.


Director of Primary Education Mithilesh Mishra has sent a letter to the district education officials regarding this. He has said that in the light of petition number 17115/2019, an FIR was registered against 2126 teachers found guilty in the surveillance investigation. The department had given instructions to terminate the services of all these teachers. But, according to the reports received from the districts, till now the services of only 1310 teachers out of 2126 have been terminated by various planning units.
