Live News Update: 13 PMShri schools will soon be built in Dhanbad
Latest Updated 21/03/2024: There is good news for Dhanbad education world. 13 government schools of the district have been selected for PMShri (Prime Minister School for Rising India) school. Ministry of Education, Government of India has provided the list of finally selected schools to Jharkhand Education Project Council.

PMShree School Scheme is an ambitious scheme of the Central Government. This scheme is applicable from the year 2022-23 to the year 2026-27.

288 schools of Dhanbad had applied. 288 schools of Dhanbad had applied for PMShree School. After block and district level investigation, District Education Project had shortlisted 191 schools. Now 13 of these schools have been selected. Under this, smart classes, sports, computers, library, Wi-Fi equipped campus, boundary and other modern facilities will be available.
The district team will conduct field visits. The State Project Office has instructed the district offices to form teams and conduct school-wise field visits and do gap analysis. Budget preparation will be done on that basis. In this regard, the State Project has also issued the format and instructions of the Ministry of Education. Experts say that information has to be given on 61 points including basic facilities, school safety, teaching staff and capacity building, learning outcome, vocational education.

BTM High School Malkera Baghmara, Upgraded High School Dangepara Balliapur, Middle School Munidih Project Dhanbad, Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School Jharia, Middle School Kesarkural Agarkund, Mahendra Uvi Barwapurva Govindpur, Upgraded High School Dumaria Kaliyasol, Middle School Dubi Nirsa, Upgraded High School Madandih Nirsa, Upgraded Uvi Sunderpahari East Tundi, Upgraded High School Dumdumi Topchanchi, Vivekananda Sevashram Tundi. Children will soon get facilities in these schools.
