Latest Updated 29/02/2024: The Education Department has sent the requisition to the General Administration for the appointment of 6061 headmasters of secondary and higher secondary schools. BPSC will release the recruitment advertisement soon.

1340 will remain unreserved. 1283 posts are reserved for SC, 128 for ST, 1595 for Extremely Backward Class, 1139 for Backward Class and 576 for Economically Weaker Section. There will be recruitment on 765 posts in Patna division, 611 in Saran, 1361 in Tirhut, 815 in Darbhanga, 385 in Kosi, 696 in Purnia, 289 in Bhagalpur, 536 in Munger and 603 in Magadh division.
