Latest Updated 29/02/2024: Apart from all the posts including General Medical Officer, Specialist Medical Officer of Bihar Health Services Cadre under the Health Department, recruitment and recommendation on all the posts of Medical Services Cadre of Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (IGIC) will be done by Bihar Technical Service Commission.

On Wednesday, a copy of the Bihar Technical Service Commission (Amendment) Bill 2024 was distributed among the members in the Assembly.
The proposal is also included by the Health Department to include the post of Assistant Director under Indira Gandhi Heart Disease Institute, Patna in the list of Bihar Technical Service Commission.
