Prepares for the recruitment for 2500 posts by Labour Department Jharkhand latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 26/02/2024: To provide local employment to educated unemployed youth, employment fairs are organized from time to time in all the districts by the state government. According to the records of the Labor, Employment and Training Department, a total of 14,990 unemployed people have been given employment through this fair so far.

The department will organize an employment fair at the end of February at the District Planning Complex in Ramgarh and Medininagar. Around 2500 posts will be appointed in this fair to be held in Ramgarh on 27th February and Medininagar on 28th February. There will be recruitment for 2060 posts in the fair organized in Medininagar and about 492 posts in Ramgarh. Private companies will also participate along with the state government in employment fairs, so that qualified unemployed youth can get employment. All the planning officers of the district have been given the task for the employment fair. It will be mandatory for the candidates to be registered in the Employment Exchange located in any district of the state.

The unemployed Scheduled Tribes have got the maximum benefit by the Labor Department, so far they have provided employment on 14,990 posts through the employment fair. There are 12,834 males and 2153 females. Among those taking advantage of employment, most of the unemployed are from Scheduled Tribes. Out of total 14,990 posts, they have got employment on 24.2 percent (about 3627 posts). The number of OBC and general caste boys and girls is 22.9 percent respectively. Through the employment fair, maximum number of 2116 posts have been appointed in East Singhbhum. At the same time, Ranchi (1590), Dhanbad (1130), Bokaro (968), Palamu (883) are at second, third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
