Test of practical knowledge

You will be allowed to carry and refer notes, books or any other study material during the examination. CBSE officials said that in the open book examination, the memorization ability of the students is not assessed, but the understanding of a subject or topic and its practical knowledge is tested. The examiners do not give marks to those answers which are written after looking at the book, rather marks are given to those answers which show the intelligence of the students.
