Live News Update: Get Equal opportunities in teacher recruitment of Uttarakhand in 2 years DElEd Entrance Exam
Latest Updated 26/02/2024: 153 trainees selected from the waiting list of the two-year D.El.Ed entrance examination (2019-20) in Uttarakhand and directly registered in the second semester have demanded equal opportunities in primary teacher recruitment. These trainees say that they are also as eligible as other trainees of the same session and they should also be given an opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.
The trainees gave a memorandum to Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat regarding this subject on Sunday. In which it is said that he has passed three semesters (Second, Third and Fourth) with honors. Which also includes 24 and 96 days of school experience. Their first semester started from July 1, 2022 and will be completed by June 2024. Trainees have received information from newspapers and departmental offices that the notification for primary teacher recruitment will be released soon. If the recruitment process starts before June 2024, they will be debarred from applying. Because their first semester will not be completed till then. The Education Minister has assured the students that he will not allow injustice to any trainee.
Teachers union will protest against harassment of ad-hoc regulation
The Government Teachers Association came forward openly regarding the ad-hoc service period of ad-hoc regulated teachers. Sangh President Ram Singh Chauhan again said on Sunday that if teachers are harassed in the name of calculation and recovery, then the Sangh will protest strongly. Said that instead of solving the pending problems of teachers, the officials are trying to start new controversies.
