The education department has decided to take strict action against them. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department of Bihar KK Pathak has written a letter to the Panchayati Raj Department (PRD). Therefore, immediate action will have to be taken against such teachers, so that all of them do not become government employees.

582 employed teachers from the various districts of Bihar are missing for more than 6 months. However, in other serious cases, when action of suspension & dismissal was recommended, no specific action was taken by the concerned planning units. In all such cases, dismissal & suspension were recommended, but only 13 teachers were dismissed and only 10 were suspended.

13 missing teachers were dismissed


Till now 13 employed teachers, missing for more than 6 months, have been dismissed. Of these, maximum 8 are from Nawada district alone. At the same time, three teachers from Bhojpur district & one each from Saran & Supaul districts are included. The districts have been recommended to the dismiss 419 such teachers.


Maximum 54 teachers missing from Darbhanga


There are 134 employed teachers who have been missing for less than 6 months and have been recommended for suspension. But, among these, only 34 teachers have been suspended by the respective planning units. Darbhanga district has the highest number of 54 teachers missing for more than 6 months. At the same time, 53 teachers from Patna, 46 from Gaya, 38 from Nalanda, 29 from East Champaran & 28 from Bhojpur are included. Whereas in Shivhar, Munger, Madhubani, Kishanganj, Jehanabad & Gopalganj the number of such teachers is zero.


44 teachers were suspended


44 employed teachers who were missing without notice in various districts of bihar have been suspended. Among these, there are 34 teachers who are missing for less than 6 months. At the same time, 10 teachers have been suspended who were missing from schools for more than 6 months. The suspension of 163 teachers missing for more than 6 months has been recommended to the planning units. The total number of teachers missing for less than 6 months is 16 thousand 500. Of these, salary of 14 thousand 257 teachers has been deducted.


6766 teachers did not contribute even after getting the appointment letters in Bihar

According to the reports received from the various districts, the no. of such teachers is 365 in Samastipur, 244 in West Champaran, 177 in Vaishali, 78 in Sitamarhi, 186 in Madhubani, 265 in East Champaran & 284 in Gaya.
