ECIR will do ED in JSSC paper leak case latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 06/02/2024: ED will investigate money laundering in JSSC CGL paper leak case. ED's Ranchi zonal agency will file ECIR in this case. The investigating agency has written a letter to the state govt in this regard on Monday, seeking information about the case related to paper leak.

ECIR will be registered in this matter after the state govt sends the relevant information. After the paper leak issue came to light on 28 January, Commission's Under Secretary in-charge Madhumita Kumar had registered a case against an unknown person at Namkum police station.

What was in the FIR of the Commission: In the case registered by the Commission on January 28, it was told that the question papers were leaked before the commencement of the examination. The Commission got this information through social media. In the case registered by the Commission, the case was registered under sections 467, 468, 420, 120B IPC and 66 IT Act, Jharkhand Conduct of Examination Act 2001.
The responsibility of investigating the case has been provide to Sadar DSP Prabhat Ranjan Barwar. BJP state president Babulal Marandi had written a letter to the Chief Secretary demanding a CBI investigation into the entire matter.
