17 nursing institutions of Bihar got recognition for the course latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 18/02/2024: The state government has given permission (recognition) to 17 nursing institutions to start ANM, GNM and B.Sc Nursing courses. These courses will be conducted in nursing and medical college hospitals of various districts of the state. Nursing courses will be conducted under the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council. The state government has also issued a notification in this regard.

Permission has been given for ANM course in nine institutes, GNM course in four institutes and B.Sc Nursing course in four institutes. The places where ANM courses will start include Manjhaul (Begusarai), Madhepura, Navgachia, Paliganj, Pakdidayal (East Champaran), Raxaul, Fulfras (Madhubani), Dhamdaha and Baisi (Purnia).
GNM course will start in nursing institutes of Madhuban (Sitamarhi), Kishanganj, Nalanda and Nawada. Whereas the facility of B.Sc Nursing will be available in nursing institutes of Purnia, Bettiah, Saran and Muzaffarpur. B.Sc Nursing is a four-year degree course.
