It had to be canceled after its question paper went viral hours before the exam. The EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) team investigating this case has recently received some important clues. In this, hawala has been used in all types of transactions including selling question papers or getting selected in this examination. Evidence has been found that all the transactions from the kingpin down were done through Hawala.


The 22-member SIT (Special Investigation Team) of EOU, which is investigating the case, has found many important clues related to hawala transactions. At present, the SIT is trying to get to the bottom and identify the main accused involved in this and arrest him. SIT can also soon interrogate senior officials of the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), which conducts the examination, in the constable recruitment paper leak case. There is information that preparations have been started at the level of the investigation team for questioning all the concerned officials. According to sources, the SIT has demanded many documents related to the paper leak from the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), but the investigating agency has not yet received many of these documents. These are being demanded again.

Till now, 212 accused have been arrested: In this paper leak case, 212 accused have been arrested so far, from those who made the question paper viral to those who received it, and after getting it solved in many districts, 212 people were involved in setting up the centers for theft with the help of electronic gazette. The accused have been arrested. But till now its main leader has not been caught. Nor is it clearly marked from where its question paper was leaked. So far, about 70 people have been interrogated at the SIT level. Many were called after giving notice and their statements have been recorded after being interrogated. In this matter, a few months ago, EOU had also sought information from the common people by issuing e-mail ID and phone number. Many important information has been found in this also.

Before EOU took over the case, 75 FIRs had been registered in the constable paper leak case. EOU registered its own FIR in this matter on 31 October 2023 and started proper investigation. Also, he got the FIRs registered in all the districts and reviewed them. Under this, 11 in Saran, Bhojpur-10, Bhagalpur-9, Nalanda-7, Nawada-6, Saharsa-5, Lakhisarai and Patna-4, Rohtas, Munger and Madhepura- 3-3, Jehanabad and Jamui- 2-2 and FIRs were registered in Arwal, Motihari, Aurangabad, Begusarai and Sheikhpura-1 each.
