1200 applicants for 3600 posts, 249 candidates of Jharkhand got offer letter latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 17/02/2024: Only 12 hundred applicants turned up for 36 hundred vacancies in the Dattopant Thengadi employment fair organized on Friday at the Lower Regional Employment Exchange, Dhanbad.
26 companies gave offer letters to 249 candidates after completing various processes. In this situation, 3351 posts remained vacant. 321 applicants have been shortlisted by many companies. Only 22 out of 26 companies reached the employment fair. Representatives of many other institutions including Dhanbad Public School did not reach. The bio-data deposited in the said counter will be sent to the concerned institutions by the employment office.
There was a crowd in the stalls of the companies. There was a crowd of youth throughout the day in the employment fair. All the applicants were going to the stalls of the respective companies and submitting their biodata as per their eligibility. A large number of candidates and their parents had also arrived. Tata Steel Sijua Colliery Jharia Division has nine vacancies for Junior Engineer on contract basis. Dozens of applicants submitted applications. The same situation was seen at the stalls of other local companies/institutions.
Selected got offer letter immediately
The employment fair was inaugurated by Labor Superintendent Ranjit Kumar, Anand Kumar Planning Officer Dhanbad and others. Selected candidates were given on the spot offer letters. Ranjit Kumar said that in the employment fair, you should play your role in the economic development of Jharkhand and the country by getting suitable employment opportunities as per your qualification. Anand Kumar, Employment Officer, gave detailed information about the employment office to the unemployed applicants. Kanchanmala Kisku, Jaiprakash Gupta, Suraj Kumar, Prashant Goyal, Vivek Kumar Sao, Sanjay Kumar Sao, Rajshekhar Kumar, Amit Kumar and other personnel were present on the spot.
