Vacancies removed after a long time in Agriculture Department in Bihar
Latest Updated 11/01/2024: There will be restoration on 1051 posts in the Agriculture Department. After a long time, so many vacancies have been released by the Agriculture Department at one go. The responsibility of conducting the examination has been entrusted to Bihar Public Service Commission. Candidates can apply from 15th January.

The last date of application is 28 January. Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that the examination manual is on the BPSC website.
Maximum recruitment will be done on 866 posts of Block Agriculture Officer (BAO). There will be recruitment on a total of 155 posts of Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Deputy Project Director, Atma Sahayak & Director (Crops) and equivalent. At the same time, recruitment has been complete for 19 posts of Assistant Director (Agricultural Engineering) & 11 posts of Director of Plant Protection.

Selection will be based on written examination and interview. The written examination will be of 3 subjects, in which there will be one paper of 100 marks for General Hindi. There will be one paper of General Knowledge of 100 marks. There will be two papers of 200 marks each i.e. 400 marks examination of the respective subject. The exam will be of two hours each. Objective questions will be asked in this.
It is mandatory to pass the General Hindi examination. You will have to score 30 marks in it. Those who succeed in the written examination will have an interview for 50 marks. In this examination, weightage of some marks is also to be given to the personnel who have already worked in this examination.
