BPEd degree is not for the recruitment in the primary schools of UP latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 06/01/2024: Lucknow Bench of High Court has said in one of its orders that B.P.Ed degree is not suitable for appointment to the post of assistant teacher in primary school. The Court has also said that B.P.Ed degree is not an alternative educational qualification to BTC.
This order was passed by the division bench of Justice AR Masoodi and Justice Om Prakash Shukla while rejecting the special appeal of Rakesh Kumar.
Challenging the order of the single bench on behalf of the appellant, it was argued that B.P.Ed degree is equivalent to B.Ed and hence he is eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Teacher.
