Indian Army will get 343 young military officers in Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 06/12/2023: As soon as they cross the last step from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Saturday, 343 young military officers will become a part of the Indian Army. During this period, 29 cadets from 12 friendly nations will also pass out. Before POP, the preparedness of future officers was tested in the Deputy Commandant Parade on Tuesday.

Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of IMA, Major General Alok Joshi took the salute of the Deputy Commandant Parade. 343 Indian and 29 foreign Gentleman Cadets presented a spectacular march past at the historic Chatswood Drill Square of IMA. On this occasion, Major General Alok Joshi enthused all the cadets and said that when you wear the stars on your shoulders, remember how much weight they hold. The weight of history, the weight of tradition and the weight of the countless heroes who have served the country before you.
