Breaking News: Promotion to the posts of ADG, IG and DIG soon in UP
Latest Updated 06/11/2023: IPS officers of 1999, 2006 and 2010 batch of UP cadre may soon get the gift of promotion. There are chances of him getting promotion to the post of ADG, IG and DIG in the beginning of the new year itself.
1999 batch IPS and Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma and Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, posted as Secretary Home, will be promoted from IG to ADG. Among 2006 batch IPS officers, Happy Guptan, Akash Kulhari, Dharmendra Singh, LR Kumar, Abdul Hameed, Shalabh Mathur, Dr. Manoj Kumar and Mohit Gupta will be promoted from DIG to IG. IPS Anant Dev of the same batch will retire in December.
