Bihar Health Department Recruitment 2023: 1.5 lakh posts will be recruited soon latest news update
Latest Updated 18/11/2023: After other departments of the government including Education Department, Bihar Police, now the Health Department has started the process of restoration. There will be recruitment on about 1.5 lakh posts in the department. Its proposal has been sent to Finance Department. Soon it will be taken to cabinet. After this the formal process of restoration will start.
According to the Health Department, apart from doctors, assistant professors, specialist doctors, junior doctors, senior residents, para medical staff and other health workers will be reinstated in the department. Approval of the expenditure on restoration is taken from the Finance Department. In light of this, the department has sent the proposal to the Finance Department. The Finance Department has asked some questions. Answers to those questions are being sent by the Health Department. After this, it will be duly approved by the Finance Department. As soon as the Finance Department approves it, it will be taken to the Cabinet. The restoration process will start after getting the approval of the state cabinet.

1.20 lakh teachers appointed this year
This year, one lakh 20 thousand 336 teachers have been appointed in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools through Bihar Public Service Commission. At the same time, the process of appointment of one lakh 20 thousand teachers of middle, secondary and higher secondary has been started through Bihar Public Service Commission.
12926 posts have been reinstated in Bihar Police
Bihar Police has also made recruitment on 12 thousand 926 different posts this year. Under this, 8246 constables have been reinstated. Also, 2380 firemen and 1104 prohibition constables have been reinstated. Whereas Home Guard 304, Forest Guard 472, Forester 332 have been reinstated. Apart from this, 64 inspectors have been reinstated. Whereas the process of recruitment of 21 thousand constables is still going on. The process of restoration of 1339 Daroga is in various stages.
Doctor cadre is divided into 4 categories
Reinstatement will be done under special cadre
All the reinstatements in the department will be under Bihar Public Health Management Cadre. Under this, the cadre of doctors has been divided into four categories.
1. Public Health Cadre: It will have MD and PG pass doctors. They will implement the ongoing schemes in block and district hospitals.
2. Health Management: In this, 70 percent of the posts will be PG pass doctors while 30 percent of the posts will be filled by MBA pass candidates. They will handle the management of the hospitals.
3.This will be the cadre for teaching in teaching medical colleges. Through this cadre, it will be easier to deal with the global pandemic. Besides, there will be a dedicated system for the health problems which are increasing rapidly these days in the cadre like diabetes, hypertension, cancer and mental health.
4. Specialist: In this, specialist doctors like PG pass clinical, medicine, gynecologist, surgeon etc. will be kept.
There will also be separate directorates for health management and medical cadre.
