Latest Updated 01/10/2023: There is good news for the youth who want to become teachers in high school and plus two of Bihar. Now they will be able to appear for the eligibility test twice a year. The state government has now decided to conduct the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) twice a year. Bihar School Examination Committee has also started preparations regarding this. During a program of the board organized on Saturday, Anand Kishore told the media that this will be a golden opportunity for the candidates doing B.Ed. Under this, secondary teacher eligibility examinations will be held twice every year on the fixed schedule. These decisions will not only provide more opportunities to the youth, but will also help in removing the shortage of teachers in schools. At present, there are many subjects in secondary and higher secondary for which teachers are not available. For example, mathematics, science, language etc. Therefore, to overcome the shortage of teachers in high schools and plus two schools, the Education Department has decided to conduct the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test twice a year.
