Latest Updated 02/09/2023: The cabinet has made a provision for waiting list for recruitment to single cadre posts. Now the recruitment process will be completed by releasing the merit of 25 percent additional successful candidates in relation to the total posts.
Till now, there was a provision for waiting list in the service manual of some departments, whereas in many important departments like police, there was no waiting list. Here, youth apply for many recruitments simultaneously and are successful in many recruitments simultaneously. For this, later they select the best option. In this way, their post remains vacant in other recruitments. Now, in all the recruitments of the same cadre, a waiting list of 25 percent more successful youth will be prepared in relation to the total posts.
In this sequence, recruitment will be done on vacant posts, this waiting list will remain effective for maximum one year or till the new recruitment starts. This new change will be applicable to all those recruitments for which results have not been declared yet.
