Latest Updated 19/09/2023: Work is being done on a war footing to prepare the curriculum for the third to eighth semesters of the four-year Undergraduate Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) implemented in the universities of the state. According to the information received from Raj Bhavan, courses will be prepared soon.
Case of 4 year old graduate, more than 100 experts appointed for various subjects
In this sequence, more than 100 expert university teachers from different universities were gathered at Raj Bhavan on Monday. It is known that the syllabus for first and second semester has been prepared. The syllabus for the third semester will be required in July 2024. The 4-year CBCS-based undergraduate course has been implemented in the bihar universities in the session 2023-27. It is being told that with this, the students of Bihar will get more success in studies & competitions at national and international level. After completing 4 semesters of 80 credits in the 2nd year, you will get the title of UG Diploma. After third year i.e. 6 semesters the student will get UG degree. After completing six semesters in three years, you will get a Bachelor's Degree (Honours). In this way, students will be able to obtain a bachelor's degree in 3 years.
Whereas, those who want to do research will do the fourth year course and will enroll in the seventh semester. Then after doing a course of eight semesters i.e. four years, you will get the degree of Under Graduate Honors (with research).
