1288 Daroga will be recruited in Bihar soon latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 19/09/2023: The way was cleared for the recruitment of 1288 new inspectors in the state. The Home Department has approved the reservation roster for appointment to 1288 posts. The state police headquarters will send the requisition for appointment to the Bihar Police Under Service Commission by Tuesday. After this there will be advertisement at the commission level.

Additional Director General of Police, Jitendra Singh Gangwar told the police headquarters on Monday that the appointment process will start soon after the approval of the reservation roster from the Home Department. Out of 1288 posts, 13 will be filled through sports quota. This is one percent of the total post. At the same time, women will be recruited on 1288 posts i.e. 35 percent i.e. 455 posts. After direct appointment from sports quota, the requisition for reinstatement on the remaining 1275 posts will be sent to the Commission within 24 hours. The conditions of reinstatement will be mentioned in the Commission's advertisement. ADG said that currently the process of constable recruitment on 21391 posts is going on.
