Breaking News: DA of roadways workers of UK Uttarakhand increased by 4 percent
Latest Updated 14/09/2023: Dearness Allowance (DA) of roadways workers has increased by four percent. Along with this, financial assistance will be provided to special category, contract and outsourced personnel on their death during service.

The meeting of the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation Board of Directors was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chairman L Fanai at the corporation headquarters. Giving information about the meeting, Roadways MD Dr. Anand Srivastava said that the board has given consent to increase the dearness allowance of regular employees of the corporation by four percent from 38 percent to 42 percent. About three thousand workers will benefit from this.
Along with this, the Board has given compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the dependents of contractual, special category, outsourced drivers, conductors and technical personnel working in the Transport Corporation in case of their normal death during their service period and on their retirement to the concerned personnel as per the period of service. Approval has also been given to provide special financial assistance up to Rs 2 lakh. The Board has also constituted a sub-committee to consider the payment of seventh pay scale arrears to the corporation employees.
