Breaking News: Haridwar SSP Ajay Singh becomes the new police captain of Dehradun Uttarakhand
Latest Updated 14/09/2023: The government has transferred a total of nine IPS officers, including captains of four districts. Haridwar SSP Ajay Singh has been brought to Dehradun, while the responsibility of Haridwar has been handed over to Pramendra Dobal. Till now he was handling the responsibility of Chamoli. The Home Department issued transfer orders on Wednesday.

According to the order, IG Kumaon Dr. Nilesh Anand Bharne has been brought to the headquarters. In his place, DIG Intelligence Dr. Yogendra Rawat has been given the responsibility of Kumaon Range. Dehradun SSP-DIG Dalip Singh Kunwar has been made DIG Intelligence. SP Vigilance Haldwani Prahlad Narayan Meena has been sent to the post of SSP Nainital while SSP Haridwar Ajay Singh has been sent to the post of SSP Dehradun. With this, SP Chamoli Pramendra Dobal has been made SSP Haridwar and SP Traffic Haridwar Rekha Yadav has been made SP Chamoli. SSP Nainital Pankaj Bhatt has been made the commander of 46th Corps PAC. The responsibility of police headquarters has been taken back from IG Vimla Gunjyal.
