Boundary wall will be built in 47 thousand schools of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 07/09/2023: Boundary walls will be constructed in 47555 government schools of the state. All the schools have been marked for this. The school premises will be surrounded by a boundary wall to ensure that the children stay safe in the school and do not go out unnecessarily. This includes primary to secondary and higher secondary schools. The construction of boundary wall will be done first in those 5432 schools which are adjacent to the highway.
It is noteworthy that 43880 primary and middle level schools in the state do not have boundary walls. Whereas 3675 secondary and higher secondary schools are without boundary walls.
Maximum boundary walls will be built in 2279 primary, middle and secondary schools of Patna district. Patna District Education Office has also issued e-tender for this. Construction will be done through agency. Gaya district has the maximum number of 2132 schools after Patna. The target has been set to construct boundary walls in all the identified schools by October.
