Latest Updated 14/08/2023: Soon more than ten thousand posts will be restored in Bihar. All these appointments will be of permanent nature. The General Administration Department has given its approval on the departmental proposal regarding appointment to vacant posts in various departments of the state government. Official sources of the General Administration Department said that all these posts will be sent to the concerned commissions for appointment and the process of appointment will start soon.
According to the General Administration Department, there are 3532 posts of Panchayat Secretary in Panchayati Raj Department, 3500 posts of Revenue Employees in Revenue and Land Reforms Department, 1318 posts of Assistant Professor (Specialist Doctor) in Health Department and 6 posts of other specialist doctors, Labor Department. 63 posts of Labor Enforcement Officer, 51 posts of Assistant Engineer in Water Resources Department, Assistant Director in Agriculture Department, 18 posts of Agriculture Engineer and Assistant Director, 08 posts of Plant Protection, Assistant Director in Cooperative Department, 7 posts of Cooperative Societies And approval has been given for appointment to 329 posts related to the 69th competitive examination from the Bihar Public Service Commission. At the same time, the process of approval for more than two thousand posts is going on.
