Latest Updated 17/08/2023: Just before the completion of the forest inspector recruitment process, after the court's order to fill 211 posts by promotion, there has again been a situation of confusion regarding this recruitment which has been going on for three years. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has now almost completed the selection process. The commission will take the permission of the court before releasing the result for all 316 posts.
Despite the release of the final result earlier, the forest inspector recruitment process has been canceled on the charge of copying. Now the commission is preparing to release the result after completing the written and physical examination for the second time. Meanwhile, while hearing the petition of One Beat employees, the court asked to fill 211 out of total 316 vacant posts through departmental promotion, leaving only 105 posts for direct recruitment. Due to this, the re-selected youth may have to be disappointed. According to commission chairman GS Martolia, the commission will take permission of the court before releasing the result. The commission also rejected the allegation of conducting an extra round in the race as part of the physical examination. According to Chairman GS Mertolia, the commission determined the distance based on the reports of experts from police, sports and civil society. Therefore, there is no substance in the allegations of the youth.
