HNBUMU Second Round Counselling: Registration will be done till 20 August latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 17/08/2023: Uttarakhand Medical Education University has released the schedule for second round of counseling for MBBS admission. For this, registrations will be done till 20 August. Can drop the sheet issued in the first round till 5 pm on 21 August. Data processing will be done from 22nd to 24th August and the result of counseling will be released on 25th August. The university has kept 4 September as the last date to join the allotted medical college.
188 seats of state quota are vacant in private and government medical colleges of the state. Of these, 54 are in government and 134 in private medical colleges. 132 seats of All India Management Quota are vacant in private medical colleges. 60 seats of State Quota of BDS and 50 seats of All India Management Quota are vacant. HNB Medical University Registrar Dr. Ashish Uniyal told that the candidates will no longer get the facility of free-exit. If he does not take admission on the allotted seat in the second phase then his security money will be forfeited. There is a chance till February 27 to surrender the seat.

Less interest in non-clinical seats
Dehradun. In the first phase of NEET-PG State Counselling, 208 seats for MD-MS, MDS and PG Diploma have been allotted. Minutes of the counseling board meeting were issued by the Medical University on Wednesday late evening. The youth showed less interest in admission to non-clinical seats in government-non-government medical colleges. Registrar of HNB Medical University Prof. Ashish Uniyal said that 21 seats have been allotted in Haldwani Medical College, 16 each in Doon Medical College and Srinagar Medical College.
