Recruitment of deceased dependents stuck in UKPSC Group C level exam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 06/08/2023: Due to the recruitment dispute, the appointment of deceased dependents in various departments has got stuck due to the transfer of Group C level examinations to the Public Service Commission. That's why the Personnel Department is now making changes in the service rules.
Last year, after the UKTripleSC recruitment leak came to light, the government had sent two dozen Group C level exams to the Public Service Commission. For this reason, the said posts of Group C level have come under the purview of the Public Service Commission. Here, there is a provision in the Deceased Dependent Service Rules that the deceased dependents will be given jobs according to their merit only on posts outside the purview of the Public Service Commission.
Because of this, appointments of deceased dependents have got stuck in a dozen departments including Police, Forest Department, VPDO, the number of such cases is more than 70 in the police itself. For this reason, the Personnel Department is now making changes in the deceased dependent service rules. Cabinet proposal will be brought soon for this, according to Secretary Personnel Shailesh Bagauli, some technical problem is being faced, which is being resolved.
