Computers will be installed soon in 10 thousand schools of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 26/08/2023: Computers will soon be installed in about 10,000 secondary and middle schools of the state. Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak has given the responsibility of ensuring this to the District Education Officers (DEOs). 20 computer labs will be made in secondary schools and ten computer labs in middle schools. So that, computer education can be easily provided to the students.
In this regard, KK Pathak has issued guidelines to all DEOs on Friday. He has given the freedom to the DEOs that they will be able to install computers (desktops) or laptops in the schools of their district from any one of the 20 agencies selected by the department. Hence the district is not being allotted to the selected agencies. Which agency can work faster, DEO will give priority to that. Pathak also said that there have been incidents of computer theft from many schools in the past. That's why security personnel must be deployed before computers are installed in schools.
The DEO has also been informed that the agency has also been selected by the department for computer teacher (ICT instructor). That's why give them the responsibility of the schools soon. The cost of a computer teacher will be around 16 thousand per month. Computers will be installed in more schools in the next phase.
