Breaking News: Vande Bharat Train reached Ranchi from Patna 36 minutes late
Latest Updated 19/06/2023: Vande Bharat reached Ranchi with a delay of 36 mins in order to be diverted from Patna. The train reached to Gaya before the time but reached to Koderma late by 35 mins. The scheduled time of this train in Ranchi was 1 o'clock. Loco pilot Chandrashekhar Prasad, assistant loco pilot Akash Kumar took this train from Patna. Victor Minz which is train manager went up to Gaya. From Gaya, the railwaymen of Dhanbad Jharkhand division took command of it.
Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi had left before the opening of Vande Bharat from Patna's number 8 platform. The speed of Vande Bharat till Jehanabad was slow due to caution & other reasons. There was Jan Shatabdi ahead & Vande Bharat behind. This train reached Jehanabad at 7:38 mins while it reached Gaya 14 mins earlier i.e. at 8:11 am.
Thereafter it took a long time to reach Koderma as its speed was hampered due to Jan Shatabdi being just ahead between Gaya to Koderma. This train reached Koderma at 10:12. After Koderma it lay at Hazaribagh, Barkakana, Mesra and Ranchi in further stations. The train could not catch the scheduled time up to Hatia and reached Hatia at 1:36 a.m. late by 36 & 16 mins at Ranchi.

- Opened from Patna at 7 am, reached Hatia at 1.36 am
Patna came 5 minutes late
The train left Hatia for Patna at 3:55 pm. The average speed was around 62. Vande Bharat reached Patna at 10:15 pm, 5 minutes late from its the scheduled time of 10:10 pm. The operational status of this train will be re-analysed on the Monday. In it, the disruptions in going from Patna to Ranchi & coming from Ranchi to Patna will be reviewed.
