MBBS final year students will have to give NEXT Exam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 14/06/2023: As per the instructions of the National Medical Commission, it has been made mandatory for the MBBS final year students to take the NEXT exam. MBBS candidates will not get license to practice without passing this exam.
According to the new rule, admission of students in PG is also possible. After the commencement of NEXT, final year students will not have to appear for university exams. In the final year, one has to sit in the next only. Till now the final year MBBS examinations are conducted by the concerned university. MBBS final year students will be allowed to practice only after passing the next.

The next will be held in June-July 2024. Its responsibility will be given to AIIMS Delhi. The next was supposed to be in 2023, but it was postponed to 2024. NMC has said that the Act of Next came into force in September 2020, but its deadline was extended.
