Latest Updated 17/06/2023: The court in the Halol town in Panchmahal district of Gujarat has absolvent all 35 accused in 4 separate cases of 2002 post-Godhra riots. 3 people were murdered in these cases.
The court of Additional Sessions Judge Harsh Trivedi criticized the pseudo-secular media and politicians for projecting the riots as well-planned.

35 people were accused of rioting & murder after violence broke out on 28 February 2002, in the Derol railway station & Kalol bus stand area in Derol village. A day earlier, Sabarmati Express was set on the fire in Godhra. Riots broke out in Kalol town & 2 other places.
