All 223 posts are of reserved category
Dr Sami told that all the posts are backlogged. 223 posts have been backlogged due to non-availability of reserved category candidates in the appointments held in the past. This appointment is being done on the same posts. This includes 161 posts of Scheduled Tribes, 45 of Scheduled Castes and 17 of Backward Classes 2.
67 out of 297 CHOs have contributed so far
In August last year, the Chief Minister had handed over the appointment letters to the AYUSH Community Health Officers selected by the Jharkhand AYUSH Society of the Health Department in the auditorium located at Project Bhawan. 297 Ayush CHOs were appointed, out of which 267 CHOs have contributed. Remaining 30 CHOs have not contributed. Presently 545 Ayush Health and Wellness Centers have been made functional in the state. All the Ayush CHOs appointed earlier have been posted in these health and wellness centres.
The CHOs selected from the currently started recruitment process will also be posted in these AYUSH Health and Wellness Centers.
