Private company official shot dead in Hazaribagh Barkagaon latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 10/05/2023: Sharat Babu (62), project coordinator of private company Ritwik Projects Pvt Ltd, was shot dead by criminals in a moving SUV in broad daylight on Tuesday. His bodyguard Rajendra Prasad Mehta has got two bullets. Militant outfit PLFI has claimed responsibility for the killing.
Hyderabad based Ritvik Projects Pvt Ltd is the mining company for NTPC's Keredari Chatti Bariatu mines. Sharat Babu was a resident of Hyderabad only. He was the 3rd most senior officer in the company. Lived alone in Hazaribagh. His relatives will reach here from Hyderabad tomorrow. Sharat was going to work in a car with a bodyguard. He was attacked at 11.30 am near the pond in front of Equinox Point at Pakri Barwadih in Barkagaon, about 22 km from Hazaribagh.
The police sealed the area as soon as the incident was reported. Raids are being held to nab the criminals. The veracity of PLFI's claim will be verified.
